“Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.” (Colossians 2:8)
Wanted: Men who understand the times. Men who know what they should do.
Men willing to be men, to stand up for women and children, and lead their families and their nation out of the current cultural darkness.
For it is surely darkness which lies behind the colourful, empty facade of lies, deceptions and depravity destroying Australia and the West.
I believe these men are there. Waiting to rise up and take their place. They will need to be bold, brave and persistent. Theirs will be a truly noble task. One which will produce many heroes for decades and more to come. One worthy of the effort and cost involved.
To those young men, I recommend you get yourself trained up. Don't rely on the education system of our secular schools and universities fully. Your real education will come separately to this.
By all means get the degrees, they will help. But read independently. Read the classics. Read the Bible. Keep reading. Learning, like physical strength is gained incrementally and built upon over time.
Get skilled up. Studying both law and theology is helpful to build a strong foundation. You can do this whether you are becoming a soldier, a lawyer, a carpenter, a teacher, a politician or a preacher.
Train your minds thoroughly, and continuously. This depends on you, no one else. So, get going and spend an hour or two every night studying.
Train your bodies. Get and stay fit and strong. Join a gym but also have a home gym if you can. Learn about nutrition. Stay healthy.
Get married and start a family. Life is relatively brief, and there are only a small number of things which I would consider the best things in life, the things than matter most, that you will cherish the most. They are following Jesus, getting married and having children, and raising your family.
Don't let anyone talk you out of this. God will provide everything you need at the right time, so do not put it off, thinking you need to achieve certain milestones, or have a certain amount of money. You don't. Sharing the struggles, the achievements together as husband and wife is a big part of the adventure of life.
Take on one of the noblest of life choices you can make in your generation, to be a warrior for Christ., a husband and a father, a champion for freedom, a defender of Western civilization.
Prepare yourself and take the fight to those undermining our foundations, destroying childhood with their radical and depraved indoctrination and grooming of children from childcare, through primary, secondary and university.
They have built a frail foundation of lies. Their narratives are built on lies.
t is no wonder there is a widespread epidemic of mental sickness in Western countries. If you tell yourself lies you soon become confused. You are soon incapable of knowing the truth and you stumble around in a daze, slaves to every whim and new deception swirling around.
Your task is to speed up the failure of their faltering, brittle foundations. They will break because they have no solid rock in them. Just lies.
Your victory is therefore assured. Fight them with truth. Boldly. Persistently. Courageously. Truth is your weapon.
You will garner a following along the way. Stay true to Jesus and you will lead well and be a blessing to them. Stick closely to Jesus and the Bible as your guide.
Following Jesus is the single best thing you can do with your life. It is the best thing you can encourage others to do. There is no doubt about this. It has been tested and proven for 2000 years.
There are many causes to champion with your life, but only one will bring you true success, joy, peace, satisfaction, standing, true friends, meaning, purpose, legacy, and at the end eternal life with Jesus.
A true friend doesn't lie to you. They want the best for you. Yet, the deceptively named "progressives" tell each other lies all the time. All their relationships are built on lies. Be a true friend and tell people the truth. Help lead them out of the abyss created by their not so progressive movement.
The resources for your mission are in place. You do not need to worry about that. "For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills." (Psalm 50:10)
By all means get very good at making money (work), saving money (don't spend so much, you do not need all that stuff), and growing money (investing). It will help.
But, don't stress too much about money.
Trust Jesus and just do what you need to do. He will look after the rest, and in ways which will surprise you and build up your trust in Him. Write these things down when they happen too, for the building up of others.
Become men of courage, boldness, strong men who know what they must do. Similar to the men of Issachar from 1 Chronicles 12:32. Warriors. Champions of truth. Defenders of the weak, the poor, the children, the widows.
"Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the Lord delivers them in times of trouble. The Lord protects and preserves them--they are counted among the blessed in the land--he does not give them over to the desire of their foes." (Psalm 41:1-2)
Free those held prisoner by our rotten culture. Those enslaved by Marxist politicians on the left and the right, by welfare, medications, false counselling, fake news, by life narratives built on lies, debt, Netflix, social media.
“He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous. The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.” Psalm 146:7-9
Let me move toward concluding this message to you by talking about love.
Love is a major part of life. We all want love. We want to be loved and we want someone to love. Jesus confirms the importance of love in the Bible. Love is not the love the lost world proclaims. True love has to be the love as meant by the creator of love, God.
"God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that all who believe in Him will have everlasting life." (John 3:16).
He tells us how to get love and how to love God and other people. Not surprisingly the two are intertwined. Love God and you will know what love is. So, what is love for God?
“This is love for God: to obey his commands” (1 John 5:3) … such as: “to love your neighbour as yourself” (Matt. 19:19), “look after orphans and widows in their distress” (James 1:27), “do good to all people” (Gal. 6:10), be a Good Samaritan (Luke 10:37), feed the hungry, provide for the needy, care for the sick, visit the prisoner (Matt. 25:35-36).
Loving other people requires you to live truthfully, to tell the truth, not to join in in lies and deceptions. Flying the modern flags of the movements of lies will not lead to good outcomes or consequences for you or your loved ones.
So, when you hear a lie, be strong and brave and speak up and correct the lie.
God is a God of truth and works all things according to truth. What happens next in your life is in His hands. You do not want this affected by your lies or your failure to speak up, to speak the truth for others.
There will always be lies. Some of the modern lies include creation lies, history lies, marriage lies, family lies, gender lies, race lies, climate lies, ideological lies, political lies, even truth lies.
Build your life on narratives of truth.
So, in closing let me encourage you, young people, to rise up. There is no need for you to wait your whole life looking for a sign, as if your life mission will appear on a billboard one day. Go now!
For over two thousand years, the followers of Christ have proven that this is the absolute greatest cause anyone could follow. Put Jesus in charge of your life, follow Him, let Him lead and be blessed!
Be men who know what they should do. Read the Bible. The answers to everything are there. But you need to read it, so get in a habit of reading everyday of your life. It doesn't have to be burdensome. Just pick it up and read some.
Be the ones who carry forward and preserve the knowledge which the faithful men of old preserved and passed on for the benefit of all mankind. It is under intense attack today. Books and knowledge are being "cancelled" at alarming rates.
The Bible and God's people are being undermined, ridiculed, mocked and cancelled as "irrelevant," "dinosaurs," Deplorables," "Homophobes," "Islamophobes," "weird" etc. etc. They can say what they like, they are wrong, and they will lose.
The reality is that these people, the cancellers, this movement of destruction, have nothing to offer of any significance whatsoever. So do not be scared of them. They offer nothing. There is no hope with them. Only destruction, death and hopelessness.
Our ONLY hope is with Jesus Christ, the ONLY name given to mankind by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
