Churches should love their community more and engage more with politics.

​A friendly encouragement to Christian leaders:

God's Word is powerful. You have a calling to preach the Bible undiluted and whole, all of it. This is a calling and a privilege and a blessing to you. It should be a blessing to the hearers and by extension to the whole nation.

​I don't have that calling, or gifting, but I wish I did. It is the highest of human callings.

Churches should love their community more and engage more with politics. Why have so many churches just left politics to people who do not have the wisdom from God to be able to make a positive difference? Look at the result over the past 10-15 years especially.

If only the major decisions made in Parliaments and Local Councils across Australia over these years had people who read the Bible, were inspired by their church to get involved in public life, were encouraged by their church leadership and community, understood the basics about human worth, dignity, family structure, marriage, child raising, the environment, natural resources, financial restraint, the dangers in big government...

How much heartache could have been avoided? Think especially of children over this period. Having left it to the secular Left, the Church basically abandoned a generation of children to be brainwashed by an education system completely geared toward radicalizing children to be confused.

To hate God, panic about the weather, become race focused, to hate our history and country, to be confused regarding gender, for the two genders to compete with each other, to be confused about family and marriage.

Preachers, you are supposed to be proclaiming God's Word to our nation from your pulpits. What have you been doing? Politics is a huge part of our nation's life. Why do you avoid it?

When was the last time you preached on Genesis 19:1-29? Have you ever preached on this? You are supposed to. While you have been silent Australia has been turning into Sodom & Gomorrah.

Children's lives are at stake. Our nation is at stake.

It is time to be loving. Do your job. You are supposed to be prophets, teaching from God's Word. Be bold and courageous. God will be with you. You will have power. You will have purpose. Do it.
