“Do not be afraid” is something often repeated throughout the Bible. It is a command for God’s people, not a suggestion. We would do well to remember that it is those who obey this command, especially in the midst of the raging cultural battles in the war on God, who greatly advance Christian witness. Fear and its resulting silence should be foreign to the Christian if the Gospel is to go to all the nations.

Queen Elizabeth hails the triumph of light over moments of darkness in 2015, upholds the truth and benefits of Jesus Christ to her subjects and shares a beloved Christmas carol with the world, "Away in a Manger," maybe especially for one of her subjects, Daniel Andrews, who is trying to ban this carol from state schools in Victoria. |
Craig MannersWhile much of what is written in this Blog may currently appear to be counter-cultural, given our post-truth culture, it is in no way counter-human beings. I am always for people no matter what they think, do, or may have done in their past. Where I put forward ideas or debate against certain ideology, behaviour, ideas, movements, politics, I remain very much on the side of the human beings even though I may be opposed to their worldview, behaviour and politics. Such opposition is generally out of concern for the ultimate consequences of such behaviour or ideas, especially for children. |
